Tummy Talk: An Epic Drum Solo

My brother sent my this funny drum video as three percussionists lay down some epic drum soloing action in Tummy Talk.

I really wish I had seen this back in high school. We could have used this idea in Trash Talk.

Original Composition: Rock This Bitch Cadence

I've got a treat for you today. One of my friends and I wrote a cadence awhile back. Pictured here is the snare drum sheet music to "Rock This Bitch" (named after the Ben Folds song) that I wrote in high school for Thomas Worthington's drumline. I've got lots of solo and cadence ideas and would be more than happy to write some beats for your marching band or indoor drumline. I will be posting more original composition soon to showcase some of my work.

Thomas Worthington Quad Line - Shades of Arrogance

The Thomas Worthington Quad Line performing at the 2008 "Cardinal Day" Talent Show. Adrienne (middle), Pablo (left), and Scott (right) at their finest. They were voted 1st place.

The three of them have constituted the tenor drum line in the TWHS Marching Band and the TWHS Winter Percussion Group from 2005 to 2008.

Tenor Sheet Music: Rhythm X Quad Solo 2002

Here's the quad solo for one of my favorite indoor shows of all time, Rhythm X's 2002 show "Our World." the group won Percussion Independent Open in their first year of existences and have been crushing in World class ever since. The tenor liner consisted of Tim Jackson, Adam Clemens, and Geoff Kolb, all from my Alma mater, Thomas Worthington High School. Sadly, it appears all the videos of the show have been taken down from YouTube at the moment.

*Geoff Kolb marched Matrix that year - my bad!

Learn to play drums.
